Selfridges Beauty Blogger Event

I was invited along to a Selfridges Beauty Blogger Event by the lovely Beauty Personal Shopper, Rose, and could not wait to see what was in store. As you can see from the pic above, I even put some event into my outfit (no trainers or jeans, shocking!). If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen this picture already and if you are not, then why not?! I kid but have a peruse anyway, more links on the right.
We all met up in the Beauty Hall and then were taken to the rooms that are normally used for training by the Selfridges staff. It felt like getting an backstage view and was very VIP. Inside the room were tables of brands with their representatives, we were invited to go round, talk to them and most importantly talk to the lovely ladies about the new collections.

There was only a selected few of us and it was a nice intimate affair, where 2 hours just swam by. In the picture above, Rose is letting us know what is in store for the event and gave a little low down of the brands.

It was lovely that they had Krispy Kreme customise donuts for us, I have never had a donut with my name on before, that was pretty cool but it didn't last long, the donut I mean.

I have never tried Creme de la Mer before, so it nice to get a little education to see what the fuss is about. I will keep you posted if I think the samples I received are worth the spludge.

As always, Nars stole the show with that beautiful shades and innovation. Is it bad that I wanted to put it ALL on my face?! I especially got to try out the Multiple Matte Sticks and got a sample of Deep Throat, which I have become inseparable with.

I, for once in my life, got my hair straightened at the GHD stand and I couldn't believe how quick it was and just how silky my hair felt. Will I finally be breaking my rule of never straightening my hair soon?! We shall see.

Charlotte Tilbury, why are you teasing me so much with your amazing products with beautiful packaging?!

I unfortunately didn't get a chance to talk to the Estee Lauder table for very long but their products looked good. High pigmentation, beautiful colours and a lot more youthful then I had originally thought their general aesthetic was.

I didn't get to talk to the lovely lady at the Tom Ford table at all but just look at the colours and packaging?! Sexy, just like the man himself.

Thank you to Rose for organising the event, to the lovely brand representatives at the event, to the bloggers familiar and new, lastly thank you for my awesome goody bag, I have started playing around and I love it all!
