Another day, another amazing beauty event. This time it was the turn of Elizabeth Arden.
Like Clarins, Elizabeth Arden is a brand that I overlook, except for the legendary 8 Hour Cream obviously!
The event was held within Debenhams, at the Elizabeth Arden's concession, where there was massages, makeovers and skin analysing going on.
I did well on my analysis but it was still an eye opener, especially as it said 30% for Brightness and Radiance, was the machine telling me I look tired?!
The machine also made suggestions for colours that would suit me and they were pretty spot on. I thought only No.7 did this service so that was a pleasant surprise.
I will definitely be going back to try the Flawless Finish Mousse Makeup, especially as I know what shade to try. My wishlist is getting so long with these events!
Alev from Bella and Robot was trying out some products that she appears to look unsure of.
The capsules with oil inside that ensures the oil remains fresh and does not evaporate.
These lovely ladies were amazing and so knowledgable.
I tried the Beautiful Color Luminous Lip Gloss in Intriguing Violet and I actually fell in love. I don't normally wear lipgloss, especially not one with glitter but this was something very unique. The glitter added a slight highlight to the lips and the colour was very similar to my lip color so it looked natural but with a nice boost of colour and shine.
Needless to say I was very impressed with what Elizabeth Arden has to offer and it was a eye opener for me.
Do you use Elizabeth Arden? What is your stand-out product?
