1. Pitcher and Piano
Located in Brindley place is this swanky place. Well made drinks, 2 for 1 promotions, some nice snacks/meals, really pretty location overlooking the canals and a great place to start your night as its just off Broad St. The atmosphere is always lively and the cocktails are really well made and tasty; why would you not go here?!
Located on Broad St, also has 2 for 1 promotions everyday all day except Friday and Saturdays until 9pm, food is ok, it has a good crowd and good music. Another perfect night starter because of the location and cheap drinks. They used to have a video playing on how to 'dutty wine', that is incentive enough to try this cheeky place.
This place is a little gem hidden behind Victoria Square. Its got a slightly older crowd, sometimes has 2 for 1 offers, an impressive tapas style lunch/dinner menu and is the place to be on a Friday night for it's music and up and coming DJ's. It's a tad pricey but well done and quality for your money.
4. Nuvo Bar
Somewhat new to Birmingham's nightlife, Nuvo is THE place for young professionals and people who just want to party in a place with a little class. I remember going here for the launch of a jazz festival, back in 2011 and loved it, for its funky paintings and layout. Try it and tell me if you agree.
Lastly is The Slug and Lettuce, a haunt for me and a friend of mine, cheap drinks, lively fun atmosphere and easy to get to/from, perfect. Need I say more?!
So thats it folks.
What's your top 5? What would you add to mine?
Let me know.
